The Literacy Programme
JCHS has recently reactivated the literacy volunteer programme. Adults who pass a criminal record check can volunteer between 1-2 hours per week any time between Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Volunteers in most cases will need their own means of transportation to the school, but if a large group of volunteers can be picked up at one location for a specific time, it is possible for the school to arrange transportation via the school bus. This needs to be coordinated at least a week in advance prior to the scheduled volunteer time slot in the roster. If you’d like to volunteer, we’d love to hear from you.
